New International ISO standard released to address workplace mental health concerns
Legal update: archive, New International ISO standard released to address workplace mental health concerns discusses the new ISO 45003:2021: Occupational health and safety management – Psychological health and safety at work – Guidelines for managing psychosocial risks (Standard) which provides guidance on managing psychological health and safety risks within an occupational health and safety management system.
The Standard will also help users meet the requirements of ISO 45001: Occupational Health and Safety, the world's first International Standard for an occupational health and safety management system. The Standard brings together international best practice measures addressing psychological health issues in the workplace and addresses how psychological risk factors may impact an employee's ability to work and their working relationships with colleagues.
