Westlaw AU Login Option Extended
As communicated previously, OnePass will soon be required for all IP Personalised and all Username & Password users. The old Westlaw AU login option will no longer be available.
We have decided to extend access to the Westlaw AU login screen for an additional week to allow users to register with OnePass.
Note: IP Anonymous users are not impacted by this change and do not need a OnePass login.
Why OnePass?
OnePass is a secure authentication system critical to protect users research and intellectual property. You can think of it as a password aggregator or “Master Key” allowing multiple logins to be linked to a single OnePass username & password.
It’s convenient too, because you can then log into multiple Thomson Reuters services with the same OnePass login. For example, Checkpoint Australia, Westlaw International and ProView to Westlaw AU linking - coming soon.
What are the benefits of OnePass?
The benefits are wide ranging and the move will help us continue to develop new features and functionality on the site. Some of the benefits are outlined below.
When should I move to OnePass?
From December 11th onwards OnePass will be the only login option so we recommend you register now to avoid any interruption to access when the old Westlaw AU login option is removed.
