Criminal Law Noticeboard March 2021 - Criminal Law NSW author retires from Bench

/
Author updates

Criminal Law NSW author, Anthony Martin Blackmore, has retired from the District Court of NSW.

In late February, Attorney General Mark Speakman announced the appointment of 3 new Judges to replace Judge Blackmore and 2 of his colleagues on the Bench.

The three new Judges, Andrew Coleman SC, Craig Smith SC and Tanya Smith SC will be sworn in in March.

Thomson Reuters is pleased that Judge Blackmore will continue to write for Criminal Law NSW and proffers every good wish for his retirement.

We would like to offer our congratulations to the new Judges on their appointment and wish them well as they embark on this new journey.
